Tell me a little about yourself?
My name is Dan Williamson, I have been with Proceed Solutions since November 2020 starting as a part time cleaner to now a Key Account Manager in which I am responsible for a number of sites located across the country. Although I am relatively new to the cleaning industry it is one I am passionate about and I look forward to growing with Proceed Solutions.
When I am not working, I enjoy playing, watching and coaching football including maintaining my coaching qualifications, as this had been a huge part of my life and early career before joining Proceed Solutions.
What is your role within Proceed?
My role within Proceed Solutions is a Key Account Manager this involves the daily management and overseeing of existing clients and cleaning operatives at various sites across the country as well as meeting new clients to showcase what Proceed Solutions can offer them. I work closely with the Operations & Specialist Projects teams to ensure the daily running of these sites which can vary from single cleaner to multi cleaner sites. A vital part of my role is ensuring our cleaning teams are happy and understand the role they are required to carry out as well as ensuring they are well supported with regular contact and training opportunities to ensure the highest possible standard Proceed Solutions strive to achieve.
Tell me about an average day in your working life with Proceed?
An average day in my working life at Proceed Solutions is a day that is never the same as the one before. However a typical day would involve meeting new and existing clients to review & gain feedback on our services as well as showcasing our work to new clients. Another key highlight of my working day within Proceed is checking in with our team of cleaning operatives at various sites across England including providing training to the team to ensure our service is the high quality that Proceed Solutions uphold.
Tell me what you enjoy most about working for Proceed?
The most enjoyable aspect of my role within Proceed Solutions is that no working day is the same which always brings with it new challenges as well as working with a supportive team of likeminded individuals.
How has your position changed since joining Proceed?
I joined Proceed Solutions as a part time cleaner within the Specialist Cleaning Division in 2020. Since then I have been given an opportunity to become a Key Account Manager and join an already brilliant management team. Since taking this role in June 2021 I have thoroughly enjoyed the daily challenges that the role brings, connecting with new people and building new relationships as well as ensuring the Proceed standards are implemented within every job we complete.
