Proceed Operations – Northern Conference

Last week, the spotlight was on our Northern Division as we brought together colleagues from across the region for our inaugural Northern Area Conference. The day was filled with collaboration, conversation, and connection.

Held in Birmingham—our ideal central hub between Scotland and the South—the event welcomed team members from across the UK, many of whom had only met virtually until now. It was a chance to connect face-to-face, share ideas, and strengthen relationships. Led by our Northern Operations Director and supported by a guest speaker, the day focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team growth.

The conference agenda included:

• Delroy McGee – Talked through Operational Excellence and what best-in-class service looks like in our sites.

• Chris Hudson – Delivered a session on client relationships, highlighting communication, consistency, and the small touches that make a big difference.

• Molly Day – Provided insights on HR systems, onboarding, and how we’re supporting the full employee journey.

• Sarina Mann – Delivered a high-energy keynote on communication, influence, and conflict management in fast-paced environments.

• Paul Williamson – Gave an overview of his recently rebranded React Division.

• Stuart Bradley – Offered a deep dive into operational processes and legal responsibilities, ensuring every team member understands how to stay compliant while delivering service excellence.

The evening was all about bringing people together in a relaxed setting—with food, drinks, games, and a fiercely competitive driving simulator challenge. Rumour has it, Molly still hasn’t stopped talking about her win… 😉
