Proceed expand legal footprint with Azets mobilisation

Proceed successfully mobilised 28 new Azets sites across the UK this week, a significant award that sees our footprint in the legal sector expand further. This project saw us welcome 55 new colleagues to the Proceed family following a highly competitive tender process. Over the years, we have continually refined our mobilisation process to ensure seamless transitions for both clients and employees. The key drivers behind our proven approach are employee engagement, support, and open communication. From day one, we prioritise building relationships with our teams, ensuring they feel valued, informed, and equipped to succeed in their roles.

Simon Hobbs, our Project Director, serves as the single point of contact from contract award right through to go-live. Acting as the vital link between our operations team and the client, he ensures clear communication,  coordination, and a consistently joined-up experience throughout the mobilisation process. His role includes analysing TUPE data, delivering weekly updates, coordinating site surveys and equipment deliveries. Here’s what he had to say;

Mobilising a 28-site national cleaning contract from Truro to Newcastle all going live on the same day – was no small feat, especially with a different incumbent cleaning company at every location. Securing TUPE information was a challenge, but with one of the best teams I’ve ever had the privilege to work alongside, the process became remarkably smooth.

What could have been a logistical headache turned into an opportunity to showcase all of the skills we’ve developed over recent years. From day one, we worked together to ensure every detail was in place, enabling us to welcome dozens of new colleagues seamlessly into the Proceed family.

This project perfectly reflects what inspires me each morning – the excitement of meeting new people, building strong relationships, and delivering excellence at scale. Even after all these years, I still get the same buzz from moments like this.
