Employee of the year 2018
Joanne received the award from Managing Director, Mark Day, and Matthew West, DHL Facilities Manager, at a surprise ceremony on 17th January 2019.
As always, the award criteria is a combination of nominations from various key personnel and departments within the company. This year it’s fair to say that Joanne was a stand out nominee and made the judging relatively straight forward.
Joanne’s passion, energy and total commitment to her site was a constant theme in all the nominations and she is without doubt a worthy winner of the prestigious award.

We had a potentially difficult situation to deal with and some detailed information was required from site to support our responses. A simple request was made to Joanne to produce some detail behind attendance and time management, within 15 minutes we received the most detailed response I have ever received from a site, this included the time management required but also included, copies of holiday requests, copies of time and attendance analysis, personnel file, hand written notes etc. This was clearly an insight into Joanne’s activity and in my opinion is worthy of recognition
